Robert Munsch P.S has been working on environmentally-oriented initiatives over the past year, pursuing certification through Ontario EcoSchools. The certification process involves a demonstration of the school’s environmental stewardship across a number of areas including teamwork and leadership, energy conservation, waste minimization, school grounds greening, and curriculum.
We are very proud to share with our community that we have achieved GOLD certification this year.
We wish to thank each and every staff member, student and parent that contributed to these efforts, and we look forward to continuing this work together in the coming year, promoting environmental responsibility amongst our students and an appreciation for caring for our planet.
