sunsetTo our students, staff and community,

Congratulations for your work and successes during the 2014/2015 school year and for “crossing the finish line” yesterday. We enjoyed “clapping out” our grade 3 students to honour both their work this year, and their transition to Mount Albert P.S school next fall. We wish all of our students, staff and community who are moving for the new school year the very best.

I have always been excited for our September launch, but this year was, indeed, extra special. We opened our school with many questions: how would a K-3 school work? What could we expect as a new team? How would we learn about each other? Many questions gave way to a wonderful journey. We have much to celebrate together. On our horizon, I also see wonderful work ahead. On the horizon, our future looks bright indeed. Let’s dream out loud.

This summer break is the ideal time for you and your family to enjoy time together. Be safe, be together. Please celebrate your child’s achievements whether they are academic achievements, social, or individual to your child. Each of our students is unique. Now is the ideal time to honour who your child is.

I get up each morning and give thanks because I have the best job in the world; each day, I get to see magic happen.

Here’s to a wonderful year together.

We’ll see you all soon when we launch our school year on Tuesday September 8, 2015.

On behalf of the students and staff at Robert Munsch Public School, we wish you the very best for the summer and for enjoying the horizon, wherever you are.
